After a heartfelt goodbye to the old home of ORUUC, church members and friends took a walk down the Turnpike to the new home... 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike.

Reverend Jake Morrill and Reverend Tandy Scheffler led everyone in a short "crossing the threshold" ceremony, before everyone entered for the first Sunday morning service in the new building.

Part of the goodbye process to the old building included a night's stay, "under the trees" in the sanctuary. Tandy led a moving tour of the building, where everyone had a chance to share their stories and remembrances, plus gave their thanks to what was the home of ORUUC for over 50 years.
