From Friday, April 23 through Sunday, April 25, we stayed in the bunk houses at Pickett State Park, enjoying the weather (between a few bouts of rain!), hiking, and joining activities in the social hall.

08/31/2012On Friday night we roasted marshmallows around the fire, and then Sunday there was clean up, basketball, and a short outdoor service led by Annie and Ernie.
It rained Saturday afternoon, so the only outdoor pictures were from our hike to the falls (see "Falls Hike")... :)

a
fairly
short
hike,
great
for
kids,
and
everyone
enjoys
the
reward
of
seeing
the
falls
at
the
end.
Social Hall
08/31/2012The social hall sits in the middle of the camp and was the center for activity (and food!). People talked, let their kids play, worked on puzzles, board games, cards, ping pong, and more.
