The Easter egg hunt before service... Kids split in to two groups, younger and older, and everyone had a great time gathering eggs and seeing what prizes were in them.

The night before Halloween, ORUUC had their annual "Trunk or Treat" celebration. This year, the kids' party was followed with an adult, costumed, "Halloween Ball".

From December 17-19, ORUUC filled the weekend with holiday celebrations. On Friday night there was a cookie swap (Santa showed up!), and on Sunday morning was the "no rehearse" Christmas pageant during service.

On Tuesday, March 30, ORUUC'ers joined together for Passover Seder. There were over 30 of us this year, together in a circle, enjoying the service lead by the Rosenbaum's and finishing with the "festive" meal, organized by the Haberman's.

From Friday, April 23 through Sunday, April 25, we stayed in the bunk houses at Pickett State Park, enjoying the weather (between a few bouts of rain!), hiking, and joining activities in the social hall.

To celebrate the signing of Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist church's charter on December 30, 1950, members gathered to bury a time capsule which will be opened in 2070.
