The Easter egg hunt before service... Kids split in to two groups, younger and older, and everyone had a great time gathering eggs and seeing what prizes were in them.

On Tuesday, March 30, ORUUC'ers joined together for Passover Seder. There were over 30 of us this year, together in a circle, enjoying the service lead by the Rosenbaum's and finishing with the "festive" meal, organized by the Haberman's.

From Friday, April 23 through Sunday, April 25, we stayed in the bunk houses at Pickett State Park, enjoying the weather (between a few bouts of rain!), hiking, and joining activities in the social hall.

On the afternoon of Thanksgiving, we gathered with friends at ORUUC to have a wide variety of delicious food. Thanks to the Habermans for organizing everything, and thanks to everyone for bringing food, plus helping to set up and clean up!

On Sunday, July 26, ORUUC officially recognized becoming a "Welcoming Congregation" by having a short rainbow flag ceremony after the morning's service. Jake gave a heart felt speech that kept everyone's minds off the rain, and it was a proud moment witnessed by both the congregation and the media.
