Madman Returns to Radio With First Single in Four Years!

Hey, Ozzfan!  The first single from Ozzy's long-awaited,
lucky 13th solo album, titled DOWN TO EARTH, hits radio
this weekend, and though it's been a long wait since the
Madman's last studio record it is *definitely* worth the wait!
Recorded by producer Tim Palmer and with Zakk Wylde (guitar),
Robert Trujillo (bass), and Michael Bordin (drums)
"Gets Me Through" is a chugging, lead weight rocker--raw,
unvarnished hard rock with a melodic flair only the Ozzman
can offer.  It's pure Ozzy, through and through ('scuse the pun)!
So make your voice known and call your local radio station to
request "Gets Me Through" because Ozzy can't f*cking hear you!

In related news, MTV will air a half-hour special on Ozzy
September 16 followed by the world premiere for
"Gets Me Through", directed by acclaimed Swedish
auteur Jonas Ackerland (Metallica, Madonna, The Prodigy, U2).
The video shoot took place last weekend (August 25 & 26) in L.A.
and while we don't want to give away too much we can tell you
that there's an Ozzy on every corner!  Also, this week, amidst
his hectic schedule of photo shoots, interviews, and recording
sessions for album b-sides, Ozzy is also sitting with VH-1 to
tape more interview footage for his "Behind the Music" episode.
The music channel is putting together an extended half-hour
of footage to complement the original 1998 "Behind the Music",
one of the bio-program's top-rated episodes.  Look for the new
& improved Ozzy Osbourne "Behind the Music" to air on VH-1
in October.  Moreover, Ozzy will host an episode of VH-1's
"Rock Show" during the week of October 14.

Finally, there is no rest for the wicked.  Ozzfest ain't enough.
The BLACK XMAS tour, featuring Ozzy and Rob Zombie, is a go,
hitting North American arenas beginning Halloween night and
running through New Year's Eve.  Two or three support acts
and tour dates will be announced soon.
