      The Democratic National Convention has descended on Los Angeles and
      amidst all the gladhanding and hobnobbing in the convention hall and
     down-home anarchy on the city streets, nominee-to-be Al Gore expressed
    his approval of the Ozzy platform. After he chose Jewish Senator Joseph
    Lieberman to be his running mate, Al Gore was asked if he would respect
        the Sabbath. The vice-president quickly replied 'only if Ozzy is
                                   singing.'
