The album was recorded December 5, 1997 at the second of two sold-out shows in Sabbath's home town of Birmingham, England to date the original lineup's only full-length concerts since Ozzy split from the band in 1979. REUNION features 16 powerful live versions of Black Sabbath's best-known and best-loved classics including "War Pigs," "Fairies Wear Boots," "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath," and "Children Of The Grave." The set also includes two new studio tracks, "Psycho Man" and "Selling My Soul"^ืthe first new studio recordings in 20 years by the original lineup. REUNION contains a lavish 40-page booklet with rare and classic Black Sabbath photos and extensive liner notes by Phil Alexander, editor of Kerrang! REUNION was produced by Thom Panunzio.
